Android App Developer

We are looking for an English speaking Turkish citizen based in Istanbul to work from home during the pandemic. As an Android native app developer you will be responsible for development of a React Native app for Android.

Cloudnames is in the process of developing a social media platform for Vegans. This platform will eventually be a sophisticated solution for vegan news, recipes, restaurants, products and everything a vegan would need. Including finding and connecting with vegan friends!

We are looking for an experienced React Native app developer to develop the Native Android app for the project. We require a minimum of 5 years experience.

Tasks :

• Port current app to React Native
• Creating the interfaces and flows of the app according to project requirements
• Cooperate with a team of backend and front-end developers
• Speed and performance optimisation
• Improving our processes for onboarding new users
• Improving our engineering process, security and quality standards

Requirements :

• 5+ years experience as an app developer
• Fluent English language
• Expert skills in React Native, Javascript, MySQL/Maria SQL, Notification Management
• It’s a plus to have experience on NodeJS, Web Services
• Experience with managing Google Play
• Experience with social platform integrations
